sE Electronics is a manufacturer of high quality studio recording and microphones. They required packaging the boasted a colour scheme for every class of products (i.e. acqua-green for X1 range, green for the sE5, red & black for the video mics, black and blue for the top ribbon range, etc.), as depicted above in the header palette. The packaging also needed to be unexpensive to print & produce but effective with a high quality finish.

Among these examples are some colour studies and proposals of packaging for a range of sE Electronics products as well as definitive versions that were taken to market. The designs had to be modern, appeal mainly to a young demographic and instantly recognisable whether on a retail shop floor display or warehouse shelf. The internationally renowned manufacturer of recording microphones and portable acoustic shields has its marketing headquarters in the USA and its own manufacturing plant in Shanghai.

Fun fact: each design had to be completed in less than 8 hours!
